Sons of Liberty Gun Works Brand Ambassador, Sal Hernandez, Takes First Place at Texas Tactical Games

17 April 2023 – San Antonio TX – Sons of Liberty Gun Works (SOLGW), a superior manufacturer of high quality, hard-use, direct impingement firearms with lifetime warranties; is pleased to congratulate Sal Hernandez on winning Men’s Elite at this past Tactical Games 2023 Regional Event in Florence, TX.

For the past 11 years, Sal has been employed by a major city police department, and for the last 6 years, has served as a full-time member of the SWAT team. Within this role, he has been responsible for a range of duties, including serving on the sniper team, participating in firearms training, and conducting hostage rescue operations.

“TTG TX was a big event filled with lots of talent in every division. There was a challenging variety of practical shooting, precision shooting and positional. In addition, this event required you to be well rounded in your physical fitness.” – Sal

We wanted to also send a special shoutout to Sal’s wife, Lupe Hernandez, for finishing on top of the podium taking First Place for Women’s Elite Division. “I’ve watched her go from never competing to a professional. I told her afterwards that she doesn’t need my guidance anymore and is ready to step up and help others.” – Sal.
