I don’t do many video interviews and I don’t often talk about police topics anymore. My friend Warren Wilson convinced me to do both.
Warren wrote an article for Police 1 about the hazards of off duty police intervention and wanted to interview me about the topic as a supplement to his article. In the interview, I tell two personal stories of off duty intervention with negative implications and one additional story about a wrongful off duty shooting that got one of my coworkers thrown in jail and fired.
Even though the interview is primarily intended for off duty cops, there are some relevant lessons for concealed carriers as well.
